Made of a double layer of insulating poly fleece, with a silicon gripping matrix that aids in handling your camera or binoculars, they're lightweight, BUT warm enough on most Alaska days to be worn as a stand alone glove! Merino Hiking Socks by Patagonia
Specifically designed for leisurely walking, hiking, and trekking, they’re warm in the winter and comfortable in the summer. Lightly cushioned for comfort, they are made primarily of fine ‘itchless’ Merino wool (52%) for softness and they wick moisture better than any other fabric - most important for staying warm and dry in Antarctica.
